【摘要】:Thispracticeshouldbeusedwhenandwherearepresentativesampleisrequired.Arepresentativesampleisnecessaryforaccuratebillingincustodytransfertransactions.Thispracticeisnotintendedtopreemptexistingcontractagreements.Principlespertinenttothispracticemaybeappliedinmostcontractualagreements.1.1Thispracticecoversthecollectionofnaturalgasesandtheirsyntheticequivalentsusinganautomaticsampler.1.2Thispracticeappliesonlytosingle-phasegasmixturesthatvaryincomposition.Arepresentativesamplecannotbeobtainedfromatwo-phasestream.1.3Thispracticeincludestheselection,installation,andmaintenanceofautomaticsamplingsystems.1.4Thispracticedoesnotincludetheactualanalysisoftheacquiredsample.OtherapplicableASTMstandards,suchasTestMethodD1945,shouldbereferencedtoacquirethatinformation.1.5Theselectionofthesamplingsystemisdependentonseveralinterrelatedfactors.Thesefactorsincludesourcedynamics,operatingconditions,cleanlinessofthesourcegases,potentialpresenceofmoistureandhydrocarbonliquids,andtracehazardouscomponents.Forclean,drygassources,steadysourcedynamics,andnormaloperatingconditions,thesystemcanbeverysimple.Asthesourcedynamicsbecomemorecomplexandthepotentialforliquidsincreases,ortracehazardouscomponentsbecomepresent,thecomplexityofthesystemselectedanditscontrollinglogicmustbeincreased.Similarly,installation,operation,andmaintenanceproceduresmusttakethesedynamicsintoaccount.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
