【摘要】:TheserequirementscoverplumbingproductsintendedtomeettheapplicablepartsofANSI/CABOAl17.1-1992,AccessibleandUsableBuildingsandFacilitiesandtheCodeofFederalRegulationsNo.36,AppendixAtoPart1191-AmericansWithDisabilitiesAct(ADA),asofJuly1,1995,Article4.19.4oftheAmedcanwithDisabilitiesAct.Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisOutlineofInvestigation,andthatinvolveariskoffire,electricshock,orinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingtheappropriaterequirementsasrequiredtomaintainthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisOutlineofInvestigation.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisOutlineofInvestigationisnotjudgedtocomplywiththisOutlineofInvestigation.Whereappropriate,revisionofrequirementsareproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisOutlineofInvestigation.
